Philosophy
La Posada began in 1987 as the vision of Tucson Medical Center to bring needed programs and services to the senior residents of the Green Valley area. The campus includes exceptional housing options and numerous support services, including a medical component. In 1997, La Posada became an independent, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community.
In 2011, La Posada and Casa de Esperanza merged, developing a new outreach initiative called Casa Community Services.
As a community asset, our objectives are based upon a long-term commitment to our mission and our community, rather than to stockholders requiring a return on their investment.
La Posada is the largest senior service provider in the Green Valley area and has obtained the status as the first Arizona retirement community to receive national accreditation.
As a not-for-profit community, La Posada offers residents of Independent Living the La Posada Life-Lease, a written commitment to you that you will always remain a resident of our community, should you outlive your financial resources or experience financial hardship.*
*Residents must meet the La Posada Independent Living guidelines for residency.
La Posada's Mission:
"To Maximize the Well-Being and Care of Seniors."
