Meditation Garden - Completed Project
Meditation Garden
This concept began as part of our master plan to maintain open space on our campus. The first phase of Central Park to be completed was the Meditation Garden, which was dedicated in 2009.
Inspired by resident Walter Schuster, the Meditation Garden includes a labyrinth, columbarium, wind harp, fountain, statues and landscaping. All combine to create a serene, reflective environment to enhance the meditative experience.
Design plans are underway for the further development of Central Park. Our aim is to have sections of the Park devoted to certain activities, e.g., a greenhouse, tai chi, prose garden and clock tower, yet tied together with walkways and landscaping. Philanthropy will play a major role in accelerating the completion timeline.
