Volunteering is a great way to provide positive impacts on the community. It can build confidence, help you make new friends and create opportunities for fun. La Posada’s hundreds of volunteers make a difference in the lives of residents and those of the greater Green Valley community — from the simplest form of generosity to one-on-one staff-resident assistance with everyday challenges, to assisting with special events.

The La Posada volunteer program takes care in matching volunteers with just the right opportunity. Whether it’s a regularly scheduled time and day, helping at a special event, or work as needed on call. Volunteering at La Posada is a completely person-centered, individualized experience. Local volunteer opportunities we support include Casa de Esperanza and Los Niños del Valle, the Green Valley Community Food Bank, the White Elephant and Green Valley Assistance Services, to name just a few.
